There’s not a whole lot we love more than a beautiful café-made meal after a strong morning yoga class. And if you’re happy to stroll a short 600 meters from our Geelong studio, Freckleduck is the perfect place for just that.
Freckleduck is filled with light from the big windows, plus exposed brick, soft woods, and beautiful little green cups that hold the delicious coffee. The coffee is from Five Senses and is served with a range of milks from dairy and soy to almond and coconut. It’s the prefect kick-start to any day.
If you’re looking for something light and drinkable post class, go for the smoothies. The Ducks Nuts is a mix of milk (almond if you like), banana, peanut butter, cacao, and honey; the Bluebird is filled with coconut milk, blueberries, chai seeds, and dates, while the Green Machine is a mix of coconut water, spinach, grapes, apple, celery, ginger, lemon, and dates.
For those on the hunt for a meal that isn’t blended, you won’t be disappointed. There’s a lot on offer in the healthy category too. The gluten free granola is a mix of buckwheat, coconut, apricot, almonds, seeds, puffed grains, chia poached pears, date and honey labneh, and milk. If you’re after savoury, the crushed pea and avocado is served with hummus, pickled beetroot, crumbled feta, toasted seeds, and sourdough. The gluten free options continue with the cauliflower and haloumi fritters, the Mexican chicken salad, and the Korean lamb bowl.
